About Priority Nutrition Care

Individual and Corporate Clients

At Priority Nutrition Care, Anne works with both individual and corporate clients to make all aspects of nutrition more understandable and user-friendly.

Anne Manion, the founder and CEO of Priority Nutrition Care and Services, is a Registered Dietitian and Licensed Nutritionist with over twenty five years of experience in the fields of Nutrition, Education, and Business. Anne is a native Bostonian and she received her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst and Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Northeastern University in Boston.

In her early career, the seed was planted for Anne’s interest in Diabetes care and its challenges while she worked at the New England Deaconess Hospital, which at the time was affiliated with The Joslin Clinic. She enjoys working with clients to help them gain and maintain control of their Diabetes.

With an interest in Oncology, Anne founded the first professional practice group in Boston for Dietitians working with Cancer patients, with the backing of The American Cancer Society's Boston office.

Several years with Mead Johnson, a division of Bristol Myers Squibb, allowed Anne to share her expertise in nutrition care for cancer patients, honed at the Deaconess, as a Dietitian specializing in the Adult Products division of MJ. Later she became involved in neonatal and pediatric nutrition with some of the world’s best known pediatricians and neonatologists from around the United States, as a liaison for Mead Johnson with Neonatal and Pediatric Nurseries and Intensive Care units, with an emphasis on the Harvard, Tufts, and Boston University affiliated institutions.

An affinity for education led Anne to the faculty of Northeastern University’s University College for over ten years, where she taught several levels of Nutrition. She then became the Chief of Clinical Nutrition and Food Services for the Boston Veteran’s Administration Medical Center in Boston, where she remained until she was offered the position of Department Chairperson in Nutrition and Food Management at Labouré College in Boston.

Having developed an interest in starting a Dietetic Internship, Anne embarked on a mission to reach that goal. She was the founder and Program Director of the Priority Nutrition Care Distance Dietetic Internship until she recently turned over the Program Director role to one of her mentors, Jean Anderson MS, RDN.
